CAM (Certificate in Accounting & Management)
|

CAM is a two years certificate program in accounting and Management for Intermediate/A-levels students. This certificate will be awarded on completion of 17 examining and 2 non-examining courses; and 6 months supervised practical training. After completion of above certificate, students will be allowed to take admission in Stage-3 of Postgraduate Professional Level in up coming new session. The Two Year Postgraduate Certificate in Cost and Management Accounting will be awarded after completion of Stage-3 & 4. Later, after passing Stage 5 and 6 and fulfilling in practical training requirement and comprehensive examination, the student will be awarded Cost and Management Accounting Final Certificate and there onward he/she may proceed to complete membership requirements to get Associate ship (ACMA) |

- Eligibility

Passed Intermediate examination from any recognized board Secondary / Higher Secondary Education or A-Level examination (under Cambridge System).Passing ICMAP Entry Test and qualifying interview Candidates who have appeared in Intermediate Part-II examination and secured not less than 50% marks in Part-I examination or appeared in all papers of 'A' Level examination and waiting for their result are eligible to take Entry Test. Candidates passing Entry Test will take provisional admission in Semester-1. However, registration will be granted on submission of pass mark sheet/ certificate of Intermediate Part-II or 'A' Level examination. Provisional students are not eligible for examination of respective semester.
- Entry Test

- The entry test assesses the general intelligence, proficiency of English andArithmetic skills of the candidate.
- The candidates who do not qualify the Entry Test may appear in the next Entry Test on payment of the prescribed Entry Test fee.
- The successful result of
an Entry Test will be valid for two sessions / terms only i.e. one for which the test is taken and the other following it.
Exemption from Entry Test
Candidates who have secured 60% marks in Intermediate/A-Level final examination will be exempted from Entry Test.
- Admission Procedure
-
Registration and admission forms are available at all centres. Candidates must follow the instructions and ensure that the required information has been provided while filling in the forms. The items, which are not applicable, should be crossed (X). The candidates must state in the admission form whether enrolment is desired for the Morning or Evening Coaching Classes.
Documents to be Provided
Following documents are to be attached along with the admission form:
- Photocopies of educational mark sheets/certificates of secondary and higher school or 'A' Level.
- Photocopy of Computerized National Identity Card or Form-B; Four recent passport size photographs.
- Students are required to produce the original documents to the office of the Institute for attestation of copies thereof.
- The foreign students are required to obtain N.O.C. from Government of Pakistan before applying for admission in the Institute.
Admission on Paper-to-Paper Basis
As a policy, ICMAP encourages students to complete all the four (4) Semesters in their logical sequential order. However, students are allowed to take admission and examinations on paper-to-paper basis in the Syllabus subject to completion of pre-requisite course(s) except semester-1.
Admission to Post Graduate Professional Programme
On successful meeting all requirements for Certificate in Accounting and Management (CAM), students will be eligible for admission in post-graduate professional programme of subsequent session leading to Associate ship of the Institute. Such students will be eligible for directly admission in Stage-3 with the exception of subject FinancialAccounting.

Concession in Fee in ICMAP Centers
- If two or more real brother(s)/sister(s) take admission, concession upto 50% of tuition fee is permissible to the other(s) as explained under
- If real brother(s)/sister(s) take admission in the same session, one pays full fee while the other can avail of the concession.
- If real brother(s)/sister(s) take admission in a subsequent session, the brother(s)/ sister(s) taking admission later can avail of the concession.
- This concession is admissible to those students who are
wholly depending upon their parents as per laid down criteria of need-cum-merit basis not employed anywhere as per laid down criteria of need-cum-merit basis regular in their studies and show a good progress with the Institute subject to merit certificate awarded by the Institute.
- The above concession also applies to father, mother, sons and daughters taking admission simultaneously.
- The concession is restricted only in respect of the tuition fee and is non-assignable. It does not apply to examination fee, registration fee, annual subscription, or for any other educational programme.
- The concession is withdrawn if the recipient gets employment or ceases to be a student of the Institute.
Scholarship on Need-basis
The following scholarship shall be allowed to students admitted in ICMAP centers. ICMAP Registered Education Providers (IREPs) shall have their own scholarship policy.
Financially weak students may be given Financial Assistance / Qarz-e-Hasanah on need-basis on fulfilling approved criteria within the allocated budget for this purpose. This scholarship will be for only first semester and there onward, scholarship will only continue on performance in ICMAP examinations.

Candidates must make sure that they have received the appropriate question paper from the invigilator so as to avoid any confusion in this regard. The examinees, on receipt of blank answer scripts and supplementary sheets in the examination hall, s hould instantly record their roll numbers and registration numbers thereon. They are not allowed to write any thing other than mentioned herein above before the commencement of examination.
- If so required, candidate may ask for additional supplementary sheets, graph paper and log-table from the invigilator.
- Only fountain pen or ballpoint with blue or black ink should be used for writing answer scripts. No marks will be given for questions attempted with pencil.
- Candidates must answer the questions exactly in the manner as they are printed on the paper.
- Candidates must start the answer of each question from the new page. They should put down question number, its part and sub-part on each page of answer script so as to facilitate correct assessment of the answers.
- Candidates should not, as far as possible, leave any blank page in the answer script. In case it is unavoidable, the examinees should put a cross line (/), meeting the two ends of the blank page.
- Candidates must tie up all supplementary sheets, graph papers, working papers and rough sheets to the main script at least five minutes before the examination time is over. He/she should arrange them in correct sequence with sufficient space left for an easy reading of the answer before handing it over to the invigilator.
- No candidate is allowed to take away examination stationery from the examination hall.

ICMAP Intermediate/A-Level Entry Program
The Institute collects fee from students as listed below

- Annual subscription becomes due on 1st July of each year. The student, who fails to pay annual subscription by 31st December, has to pay arrears
of annual subscription along with Restoration Fee. Restoration Fee as per given schedule.
Payment of Fee
At Head Office, Karachi
- Crossed demand draft/pay order in the name of the "Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan" payable at Karachi is acceptable by the Administration and Finance Department of the Institute.
Payment can be made at the designated bank and branch
At Branch or Coaching Centers
- All payments are required to be made through pay orders/bank drafts favoring the "Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan" in the bank authorized by the Head Office/Branches.
- The payment by students studying at a authorized coaching centre may be made in the designated bank of the authorised coaching centers.
- Students who fails to attending 75% lectures and securing 50% marks in the class test, he/she shall be required to re-enroll himself/herself in next session after making payment of 100% course fee and completing the eligibility requirements.
- Students who have already completed examination eligibility requirement by attending coaching classes and fail in or skip the examination of any subject/semester, can update their studies after paying 50% fee prescribed for the subject/semester.

Students are required to pay the examination fee as approved by the Council from time to time.

Examination Fee
Examination fee paid by a candidate will not be refunded or carried over for any subsequent examination(s), if admit card is issued for which Student has applied for examination. |
