Due to server limitations, domain names can be no longer than 63 characters (not including the .com, .net or .org portion of the domain). Many servers are unable to understand or process addresses consisting of longer combinations.

Domain names can include letters and numbers. Hyphens are the only special character allowed. Domain names may not begin or end with a hyphen.

A top level domain is simply the suffix attached at the end of the domain name. For instance, DomainIQ is our domain name, but .COM is the TLD. Some examples of TLD's include: .Com, .Net, .Org, .TV, .CC and WS. There are many other global TLD's as well. Registration services for the .Com, .Net and .Org TLD's are available on this site.

.Net - Recommended for business involved with Internet Infrastructure
.Org - for not-for profit organizations, charities, etc.

Web hosting is not included in the cost of registration. In order to create a web site and host it on the web, you will first need to obtain a hosting account through your choice of web hosting companies.

If you have decided to transfer your domain registration to another party you will need to initiate a transfer. To accomplish this, simply log into your account, select the domain name you wish to manage. Once you have selected the domain name, you will need to click the "change info" button in the registrant portion of that screen. The next screen provides a link to the transfer form. Fill in the appropriate transfer information, select the options you desire and follow the instructions provided.

Unfortunately, all domain name registrations and renewals are final and we are not able to give refunds. This is standard in the industry.

Yes, even you will not be able to make changes without a password. In the event that you should lose your password, visit our registration page and click on "your domain manager." Enter your email address in the "forget your password" section and your password will be emailed to you.

Absolutely. We wouldn't settle for less. A charge for "domain registration" will appear on your credit card statement.
